Is it compliant with the GDPR and professional confidentiality?
Yes, it's designed for it. Hosting in Europe, encrypted data, never used to train the program, data processing agreement (DPA) provided. You remain the data controller, as with any note-taking software.
And if the program is wrong or invents something?
The note is offered to you for review and validation — you always validate it. Lectendo is designed to use only what has been said, to write « not addressed » rather than invent, and to flag when the transcript is too thin. It saves you the typing time, not the professional judgment.
In which languages does Lectendo work?
More than 100 languages, across every continent — including Arabic and darija (dialectal Arabic) rendered in polished Standard Arabic, which no American tool does. The session can be in one language, the note in another: you choose the output language.
Is it going to replace me?
No. Lectendo doesn't do your job for you — just the written record. It clears the paperwork so you spend more time with the people you support, or get your evenings back.
How does recording the session work?
With the other person's consent, you record the session from your browser; it's transcribed automatically (transcription hosted in Europe), then the document is generated. You can also just paste a transcript or dictate.
Can I customize my notes and my header?
Yes. You can add custom instructions applied to every note (your style, your sections) and a practice header — name, address, even in two alphabets (Latin + Arabic) — printed at the top of your PDF and Word exports.
Can I use it outside of Belgium?
Yes — Lectendo is used from any country and any device, in more than 100 languages. Hosting stays in Europe.
Does it make a diagnosis?
No, never. Lectendo is an administrative documentation tool. It provides no diagnosis or professional decision — that's your role, and it remains entirely yours.
